Each year many U-M varsity programs participate in the School of Kinesiology's U-Meet the Athlete program. The U-Meet the Athlete clinics, which are open to children between the ages of 5 and 12*, are community service events run by Wolverine athletes. Each event is a two-hour, mini-fundamental clinic followed by time for questions and autographs.

The cost is $20 per child per session. University of Michigan Credit Union Penny Pioneer participants and children of University of Michigan Alumni Association members receive a $2 discount per session. All proceeds go to the Jeff Reese KidSport Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships for disadvantaged kids to attend the University of Michigan's KidSport Summer Camp.
