Michigan Tennis Information Guide
Cameras and Video Equipment
Single-frame flash photography is allowed. No lens larger than 6 inches in length are allowed. All forms of video and motion picture cameras are strictly prohibited. Guests are also forbidden to use lighting or camera support pods at the U-M Varsity Tennis Center.
There is a full-service concession stand located inside the U-M Varsity Tennis Center, upstairs on the viewing deck.
Guests are permitted to leave the U-M Varsity Tennis Center and return unless it is a ticketed event. In the event there is a ticket required for admission to a tennis match you are not permitted to exit and return on the same ticket. In these circumstances re-admittance to the U-M Varsity Tennis Center will be allowed only in the case of an emergency. Those needing to exit the U-M Varsity Tennis Center for this purpose must see an Event Team member at the doors prior to exiting.
There is a men's and women's restroom located on the 2nd floor of the U-M Varsity Tennis Center.
Guests using foul language, making obscene gestures, or appearing inebriated will be ejected from the U-M Varsity Tennis Center. Any guest entering the playing courts or any other restricted areas or throwing objects in the stands or onto the playing surface are subject to a citation and/or ejection. If someone is interfering with your enjoyment of the game, please contact a U-M Varsity Tennis Center Event Team Member for assistance.
Parking is available at the Varsity Tennis Center Lot (SC 22) and the Commuter Lot (SC 34) from the State Street entrances. Parking is free of charge and on a first come first served basis.
Outside food or beverage
Dogs and other pets (service animals for disabled are allowed)
Irritants (i.e., noisemakers, air horns, etc.)
Aerosol and Spray Cans
Any projectile or object that could cause injury if thrown onto the playing field or into the seating areas
Camera lenses larger than 6-inches in length
The U-M Varsity Tennis Center gates will be open 1 hour prior to match time. Admission is free of charge unless otherwise noted upon entrance or as advertised. If you have any concerns regarding ticketing of a tennis event please call the Michigan Athletics ticket office.
