Yost Ice Arena, one of the premier hockey venues in college athletics, is undergoing a facelift during the summer of 2012. Construction started after the last home game on March 11 and includes the following changes for next season and beyond:

• New bench seating on the east, west and south sides of the arena
• Replacing the historic Yost windows to allow natural light into the facility
• Improvements in the audio capabilities within Yost through cutting edge technology
• Upgraded concession stands and concourses
• Additional premium seating opportunities, including new Champions Boxes

These $16 million in changes are on top of the new scoreboard that was added before this past season.
