Big House Battle Uniform
Slippery Rock has unveiled a special one-of-a-kind commemorative adidas uniform and Riddell helmet the team will wear in the Big House Battle at Michigan Stadium.
Instead of wearing the traditional green that has become a staple of Rock football home games, Slippery Rock will wear a specially designed all gray uniform, from head to toe.
The uniform features the latest and most advanced material adidas puts into its football uniforms, from the socks all the way to visors some players will wear.
The Rock will also sport special reflective silver Riddell Speed helmets with white facemasks, a change from the traditional white helmets and green facemasks.

This will be the third time that The Rock has played a football game at the Big House. Then-Michigan director of athletics Don Canham invited Slippery Rock to play during U-M's Band Day event on Sept. 29, 1979, when The Rock suffered a 45-14 loss to rival Shippensburg in front of 61,143 fans.
Two years later, Slippery Rock returned to play against Wayne State and fell by a 14-13 score on Sept. 12, 1981.
• Big House Band Invitational | 6-10 p.m.

The Slippery Rock-Mercyhurst game will involve a "Big House Band Invitational" at Michigan Stadium. Select high school band programs will be invited to perform with the Michigan Marching Band at the game, perform their current marching band show following the game, and receive comments and a clinic with the faculty of the Michigan Marching Band.
