Schembechler Hall's Towsley Museum

The newly renovated Towsley Family Museum inside Schembechler Hall is the place to be for U-M football fans. Our state-of-the-art facility links Maize & Blue history with modern technologies for an experience like no other!

Win Wall

Towsley photo

The Win Wall features footballs marking each of the program's 900-plus victories. The wall also contains a video screen that can be seen outside from State Street.

Retired Jerseys

Take a moment to honor the six retired football jerseys representing eight Michigan football greats: Desmond Howard, Ron Kramer, Gerald Ford, Bennie Oosterbaan, Tom Harmon and the Wistert Brothers.

Interactive Displays

Interactive displays now line the museum, including a video touch screen that tells the story of Michigan Stadium, giving fans an in-depth look at the iconic venue.

Size: 14,000 square feet

Architecture: Design consistent with the facade of Glick Field House and Yost Ice Arena
Exterior Features: Brick and glass; separate entrances for the public and players/staff
First Floor: Updated exhibit/museum space, Football Legends area, pro scouts/media interview room
Second Floor: Recruiting lounge, office and additional exhibit space

Schembechler Hall

A featured element in the renovation of Schembechler Hall is the life-size statue of legendary coach Bo Schembechler outside the entrance to the building.

The statue is an iconic sideline image of Bo in his classic gameday attire and includes his timeless quote, "Those Who Stay Will Be Champions."
