ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan Student-Athlete Advisory Council announced on Tuesday (Jan. 31) the host and judging panel for Mock Rock 2012. U-M alumna (1993) and ESPN host Dana Jacobson will emcee the variety show fundraiser, to be held Tuesday, Feb. 7, at 7:30 p.m. at U-M's Hill Auditorium. Jacobson joins Dhani Jones, Desmond Howard and Comedy Central's The Sklar Brothers as U-M alumni who have previously hosted Mock Rock.

The celebrity judging panel includes: Laura Hoke, wife of Michigan football coach Brady Hoke; Jimmy King, former NBA and U-M basketball player (1991-95) and current ESPN analyst; Chaka Daley, first-year U-M men's soccer head coach; and Mary Petrovich, president of the Letterwinners M-Club.

Individuals unable to attend the event can still help Mock Rock reach its fundraising goal by making a team-specific or general donation. Donation information is available on the Mock Rock web site.

SAAC is also holding its third restaurant fundraising night at Pizza House on Wednesday, Feb. 1, from 10:30 a.m.-4 a.m. on Feb. 2.
