ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan Student-Athlete Advisory Committee announced today (Monday, Feb. 17) that its annual fundraiser, Mock Rock, will be held at Crisler Center on Tuesday, March 18, at 7 p.m. Mock Rock is the annual talent show hosted by Michigan student-athletes to raise money for local community partners.
"We are extremely excited to be hosting the show at Crisler Center and look forward to setting a precedent for a whole new Mock Rock," said Madeline Dibble, SAAC executive Mock Rock chair. "This evening is special and will showcase the talents of student-athletes in skits, dances and musical acts -- different from how you see them in competition."
Tickets for the annual variety show are $13 for students with a valid U-M student ID. A general admission ticket is $15, and VIP tickets are available for $30. Tickets can be purchased online at MGoBlue.com/tickets or in person at the U-M Athletic Ticket Office on South State Street.
The student-athletes have chosen two Washtenaw County non-profit organizations as beneficiaries this year, Food Gatherers and Team Red White and Blue. Food Gatherers serves Washtenaw County as a food bank program for those in need, and Team Red White and Blue is an organization that reconnects veterans to their local communities through physical and social activity.
