Congratulations to the Michigan Men's Basketball team, who was selected tonight to play in the 2011 NCAA Basketball Tournament. They will play Tennessee in the second round this Friday, March 18, 2011 in Charlotte, N.C.

NOTE: THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC SALE OF NCAA TOURNAMENT TICKETS

BASKETBALL SEASON TICKET HOLDERS

We want to provide men's basketball season tickets holders the following information for the sale of second and third round NCAA tournament tickets:

Eligibility: Due to the limited supply of tickets, we anticipate that demand will exceed supply. Therefore, only men's basketball season ticket holders are eligible to order four tickets.

Ordering: Requests for up to four tickets will be accepted on Monday, March 14 from 8:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. by accessing mgoblue.com/tickets or by calling 1-866-296-6849. The ticket price is $87 per round (includes a $10 athletic department surcharge). You must first log into your season ticket online account to access your application. If you need assistance, please call 1-866-296-6849 or email us at mtickets@umich.edu. We strongly encourage fans to order online instead of calling due to the anticipated high volume of phone calls during this short time period.

NCAA ticket orders are good for both the second and third rounds assuming we win our second round game. If Michigan does not proceed to the third round, those orders will not be charged or filled. Customers will not be allowed to order second round tickets without ordering third round tickets and vice versa.

Waiting List: All ticket requests will be placed on a waiting list until the deadline has passed and will be filled based upon priority points, not when the order was placed. If demand exceeds supply, orders will be filled from the top number of priority points down with refunds immediately processed for those not qualifying. The ticket office will send out emails late Monday afternoon confirming the receipt or non-receipt of tickets.

Ticket Allotment: The NCAA tournament committee allocates a limited number of game tickets to participating schools, regardless of the school's geographical location. Each school with a team in the tournament receives an equal quantity and quality of game tickets.

Our second and third round ticket allotment will be distributed among the following groups:

• Player families, coaches and Athletic and University administration.
• Student basketball season ticket holders based on lottery.
• Basketball season ticket holders based on priority points.

Seating: Because of the short time available to allocate and distribute tickets, requests to sit with other customers will not be accepted. Seating assignments will be based on priority point totals.

Delivery: All tickets will be held for pick-up. Customers (or his or her designee) must pick up their tickets at the team hotel or the tournament site will call by showing a photo ID. Pick-up information will be emailed and posted on mgoblue.com. If Michigan wins its second round game, third round tickets will be charged and available for pick up at the team hotel and will call at designated times.

Disability: The Athletic Department encourages persons with disabilities to attend this game. If you obtain tickets to this NCAA tournament game from the waiting list and need a wheelchair accessible ticket or have questions about the physical access provided, please call the Ticket Office.

Miscellaneous: In case of over subscription, a refund will be issued. The Ticket Office unconditionally reserves the right to make refunds. The Michigan Ticket Department assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen or destroyed tickets. All sales are final. No refund or exchanges will be honored.

If you have any questions, please call the Athletic Ticket Office at (866)-296-MTIX (6849) or 734-764-0247. If you want to enhance and maximize your priority point total for the future, please call the Victors Club at 734-764-7131.

Thank you for your support of Michigan Basketball.
