Wrestling, Rowing to be Featured on April 16 Coaches' Show

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- IMG College's Michigan Sports Marketing has announced that University of Michigan wrestling head coach Joe McFarland, two-time NCAA wrestling champion Kellen Russell and rowing head coach Mark Rothstein will be the featured guests on the "Michigan Athletics Coaches' Show" with Doug Karsch on Monday (April 16) from 7-8 p.m. from Pizza House in Ann Arbor. The show will be carried on WTKA 1050 AM (Ann Arbor) and WXYT 1270 AM (Detroit).

McFarland and Russell will recap the Wolverines' 2011-12 season, which concluded with an 11th-place NCAA finish, and preview the upcoming U.S. Olympic Team Trials. Russell became the first Michigan wrestler to capture four Big Ten titles before successfully defending his 141-pound NCAA title. He received a freestyle wildcard selection to the Olympic Trials, scheduled for April 21-22, in Iowa City, Iowa.

Rothstein will discuss Michigan's weekend home race against Oregon State, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Ohio State from Saturday, April 17, and preview the remainder of the Wolverines' schedule, including the 2012 Big Ten Championships, which are scheduled for May 13 in Indianapolis, Ind.
