ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan athletic ticket office has announced that season ticket packages for the upcoming men's and women's soccer seasons will be available beginning on Wednesday (July 20) at 8:30 a.m. to the general public for the first time ever.
The cost is $90 for the men (10 matches) and $75 for the women (11 matches). A limited number of chairback seats are still available, but on a first-come, first-served basis. Benefits of becoming a season ticketholder include having the same seat for all home games in the best locations, saving 10 percent when compared to buying tickets for individual games, exclusive meet-and-greets with the respective head coach and team, and access to special deals, products and events at the M-Den.
Individual match tickets will be on sale starting Monday (July 25), also at 8:30 a.m.
Fans can purchase tickets over the phone by calling (734) 764-0247 or (866) 296-MTIX (6849), online at www.mgoblue.com/tickets or in person at the U-M athletic ticket office, located at 1000 S. State St. in Ann Arbor (hours 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday).
The women's team will play host to 11 matches at the U-M Soccer Stadium, beginning on Friday, Aug. 19, at 7 p.m. against Akron. The men's team will have 10 home matches in the regular season, beginning on Friday, Sept. 2, at 7:30 p.m. against Butler, and will host the 2011 Big Ten Tournament in November.
