ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan Department of Athletics announced today (Thursday, Sept. 6) that it will install ticket kiosks at the M Den locations in Briarwood Mall and on State Street in downtown Ann Arbor, giving fans the ability to purchase and print tickets to all 13 University of Michigan sporting events at which admission is charged. The State Street location kiosk is currently functional and the Briarwood Mall location will be up and running in the next two weeks.
"We realize that fans are choosing the convenience of online ticket purchases more than ever and we felt that these kiosks would provide them with another practical option," said Michigan chief marketing officer Hunter Lochmann. "We believe that the Briarwood Mall and State Street stores are ideal locations and gives fans another opportunity to experience Michigan Athletics in person, as well as the ease of purchasing tickets while shopping at the M Den."
The kiosks will provide fans the chance to purchase individual game tickets for Michigan football, men's and women's basketball, ice hockey, men's and women's soccer, baseball, volleyball, men's lacrosse, men's and women's gymnastics, softball and wrestling. Tickets will be available at the kiosk as soon as they are released to the general public and only full price tickets and advance sales will be honored on-site. The current sports available for purchase include football, volleyball and men and women's Soccer.
