Jamie Preiss joined the University of Michigan Strength and Conditioning team as a professional intern in the fall of 2012. Now as a graduate assistant, Preiss is currently responsible for the program design and implementation for men's gymnastics and men's tennis while assisting with wrestling and volleyball.

Prior to his graduate assistantship, Jamie was a professional intern from November 2012 through July 2014 and a volunteer intern for the Michigan Olympic Sports Strength and Conditioning Department from September 2012 through October 2012. Additionally, he was a volunteer intern for the Olympic Sports Strength and Conditioning department at the University of Notre Dame from June through August 2012.

Jamie earned his B.S in 2012 from Central Michigan University with a major in health fitness and a minor in exercise science. He is currently certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
