The University of Michigan has partnered with UberMedia, the largest independent provider of applications for reading and posting to Twitter and other social media platforms, to bring you the U-M Athletics UberChannel across UberMedia's family of Twitter client applications, including Echofon, UberSocial and Twidroyd. By visiting the U-M Athletics UberChannel, fans can quickly access aggregated tweets from true Michigan Athletics insiders including players, coaches, staff, alumni and more.

Michigan Athletics on Foursquare
Explore the Michigan Athletic Department and its 27 varsity sports with Foursquare. Wolverine fans can "check-in" to any U-M sports venue and become eligible for giveaways, unlock exclusive offers and learn exciting trivia while connecting with fellow fans.
Foursquare is designed to make cities easier to use and more interesting to explore. Foursquare combines friend finder functionality with social city guide elements, and uses game mechanics to reward people for seeking out new experiences. When you tell Foursquare where you are, that's called "checking in." You can check in from arenas, stadiums, fields, postgame hangouts ... really anywhere!
Getting started on Foursquare
1. On your smartphone, go to Foursquare.com to find the Foursquare application for your iPhone, Android or Blackberry.
2. Install the program and create a user account to get started.
3. To find special tips and offers for Michigan athletics, add "MichiganGoBlue" as a friend.
To add friends, go to the Me tab, then click "Friends" and select "Add Friends."
4. Start checking-in to Michigan athletic venues and join the fun!
