Wolverines Add Three to Incoming Class of Newcomers

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan ice hockey team announced the addition of three players for the 2017-18 season. Forward Jack Becker (Dellwood, Minnesota) has signed his letter of intent, while forwards Alex Roos (Prairie Grove, Illinois) and Luke Morgan (Brighton, Michigan) will be transferring to the Wolverines for the upcoming season.
The trio brings the incoming class to seven, as they join Quinn Hughes, Josh Norris, Michael Pastujov and Dakota Raabe.
Jack Becker // Forward // Dellwood, Minn.
A 6-foot-3, 192-pound forward ... Played this past season with the Sioux Falls Stampede of the United States Hockey League (USHL) ... In 49 games with Sioux Falls, had 28 points with 16 goals and 12 assists ... Finished the 2015-16 regular season with eight goals and 14 assists for 22 points, helping the Stampede to the USHL postseason, when he tallied one goal in three games ... Started his junior career with Sioux Falls in 2015, appearing in two games and notching his first assist ... Played three seasons for Mahtomedi High School in Minnesota prior to the USHL, totaling 55 goals and 55 assists for 110 points in 73 games ... In 101 games played at the USHL level, had 24 goals and 27 assists for 51 points ... Drafted in the seventh round, 195th overall by the Boston Bruins in the 2015 NHL Draft and is attending their development camp this spring.

A 5-9, 174-pound forward ... Last played in the 2015-16 season at Colorado College ... Recorded five points (two goals, three assists) in 35 games ... Played three years at Colorado College, finishing with 28 points (15 goals, 13 assists) in 105 games with the Tigers ... Played with the Chicago Steel of the USHL prior to attending college ... Played the full year 2012-13 season with the Steel, scoring 47 points (23 goals, 24 assists) in 64 games, and 25 games of the 2011-12 season, notching 22 points (11 goals, 11 assists).
Luke Morgan // Forward // Brighton, Mich.
A 5-11, 190-pound forward ... Played this past season at Lake Superior State University ... Scored 22 points (seven goals, 15 assists) in 36 games for the Lakers ... Played for the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders of the USHL in the 2015-16 season ... Finished with 25 points (10 goals, 15 assists) in 60 games ... Played two seasons with Little Caesars on the U18 and U16 teams prior to joining Cedar Rapids.
