
Inside Michigan Football Shows to Return Aug. 27-28

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The Inside Michigan Football radio show, presented by Meijer, and television program, presented by the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan, will return to the airwaves this fall, with the first episodes of the 2017 season set to air Sunday (Aug. 27) and Monday (Aug. 28), respectively.
Longtime Michigan broadcaster Jim Brandstatter will host the TV show, which airs on WXYZ TV (Channel 7 Detroit) on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. The program features J. Ira and Nicki Harris Family Head Football Coach Jim Harbaugh as well as members of the 2017 Wolverine football team. The shows will be packed with game highlights, exclusive interviews and exciting content from around the program.
The first episode of Inside Michigan Football will air this Sunday (Aug. 27) at 10:30 a.m on WXYZ TV. In total, the program will be broadcast 15 times throughout the season, with the first appearance of each episode coming on WXYZ.
Each episode will re-air Monday evenings at 5 p.m. on FS Detroit, and a special bowl game show will air at a date to be determined. Fans can also watch the show online at MGoBlue.com starting Sunday afternoon each week.
WXYZ sports anchor Brad Galli has conducted weekly interviews with Harbaugh for the TV show for the past two seasons, and beginning this fall he will also host the Inside Michigan Football radio show, which had previously been hosted by Brandstatter.
Harbaugh will appear each Monday at 7 p.m. beginning Aug. 28 for the Inside Michigan Football Coaches Show on the IMG Sports Network. Originating through WXYT Radio (97.1 FM Detroit), each episode features an interview with Coach Harbaugh, an assistant coach and player from the Wolverine team. The show is broadcast live from Pizza House at 618 Church Street in Ann Arbor and is open to the public.
The Wolverines will open the 2017 season in Arlington, Texas, at AT&T Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 2, against the No. 17-ranked Florida Gators. The game is scheduled for a 2:30 p.m. CDT kickoff and will be air nationally on ABC.
