To "Pay it Forward" is to do something for someone else without the expectation of receiving anything in return. The University of Michigan Men's Basketball team wants YOU to help "Pay it Forward."
From now until Monday, November 30, fans can submit their most creative ideas of how they would choose to "Pay it Forward" if given $500. Please be as detailed as possible including who you would help, what you would do to help them and how you would do it.
Each person who submits an idea will receive two (2) complimentary tickets to the Michigan Men's Basketball game on Sunday, December 13th at noon as the Wolverines take on the University of Detroit at Crisler Arena. All participants will be acknowledged during the game and the two winning entries will be recognized.
The winners will have until December 25, 2009 to make their ideas happen. If you have questions regarding this contest, please email eallett@umich.edu.

Rules and Regulations
How to enter: To enter "Pay it Forward", complete the official entry form provided on MGoBlue.com. Enter as often as you wish. Entries may be submitted through mgoblue.com or sent by mail to University of Michigan Athletics, Attn: Sports Marketing, 1000 S. State St, Ann Arbor, MI 48109. The University of Michigan Athletic Department is not responsible for entries that may be lost, delayed, destroyed or misdirected by typographical or computer error.
Prize: Two winning entries will be chosen to receive $500 to make their "Pay it Forward" idea happen. Winners will be chosen at the discretion of officials within the University of Michigan Athletic Department. Winners will be notified by phone prior to December 4th. If prize winner cannot be located, cannot attend the Men's Basketball game on Sunday, December 13th, or is unwilling to follow through with their idea, an alternate winner will be chosen. Odds of winning are dependent on the total number of valid entries received.
Eligibility: "Pay it Forward" is open to all individuals (child through adult).
General: By participating in this contest, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judge. All entries are subject to verification by the University of Michigan Athletic Department. Prizes may not be transferred and no substitutions are allowed. Winners will be required to follow through with prize by December 25, 2009. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to use the winner's name in advertising, promotion and public relation efforts related to the "Pay it Forward" contest and constitutes permission for University of Michigan Athletics to photograph and/or record the idea being carried out to later be posted on MGoBlue.com.
