11/18/08Infielders Amy Knapp and Ashley Lane and pitcher Stephanie Speierman have signed National Letters of Intent to join U-M for the 2010 season.
Michigan's 2009 slate will feature five teams from last season's Women's College World Series, six early-season tournaments and 11 regular-season home dates.
The Wolverines will participate in numerous events this fall in addition to holding a 30th anniversary alumnae softball game.
Led by a combined 41 honorees from track and field, Michigan had 90 student-athletes from 10 varsity teams named to the spring Academic All-Big Ten squad.
