An in-depth preview of the 2015 squad, which is led by third-year coach Erik Bakich. The season kicks off Friday, Feb. 13, at Long Beach State.

Fifth-Year (2015) ...All-Louisville Regional ... Academic All-Big Ten ... Led the team and was tied for seventh in the Big Ten with eight home runs ... Hit .265 with 11 doubles and 33 RBI ... Sported a .503 slugging and .405 on-base percentage ... Threw out 13 base runners trying to steal ... Had 10 multi-RBI performances ... Homered twice, drove in five runs and was 3-for-4 with three runs scored in Michigan's win over Bradley in the NCAA Louisville Regional (May 29) ... Was a perfect 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles and two RBI in a win over Iowa (May 2) ... Went 2-for-3 with a double and a home run in Michigan's Big Ten Tournament win over Iowa (May 21) ... Prep ... Transferred from Black Hawk College (Ill.)(2013) ... Hit .390 with 15 doubles, seven home runs and 43 RBI for Black Hawk College in Moline, Ill., in 2013 ... Was named the Arrowhead Conference Most Valuable Player and was an All-Region second team selection at catcher ... Redshirted in 2012, but played his freshman season in 2011, hitting .425 with 11 doubles and helping Black Hawk to a 44-9 record and a high of No. 3 in the NJCAA Division II rankings ... Was a NJCAA All-America third team selection in 2011 as well as earning all-conference and all-region honors ...
