Michigan scored a run in the top of the first inning against Texas Tech on Sunday on a sac fly by senior RF Nick Urban. The Wolverines have scored at least one first-inning run in all four games this season.
Senior/junior 2B Anthony Toth singled in the third inning to extend hit hitting streak to four games. Toth is the lone Wolverine with hits in all four games this season.
Toth, who is hitting .368 (7-for-19), was 2-for-5 Sunday against Texas Tech, collecting his 21st career multi-hit game.
Sophomore/freshman 3B Kevin Krantz collected his first hit and first run as a Wolverine with a single in the four-run ninth-inning rally at Texas Tech on Sunday.
Veteran IF/OF Mike Kittle collected his first hit of the season with a single to ignite Michigan's four-run ninth inning rally Sunday at Texas Tech.
