Michigan Head Coach Erik Bakich
On the offensive production in today's win ... "Every guy in the starting lineup either had a run scored or a run batted in, whether they got hits or not, and you don't see that very often. We had a lot of contributions from the top to bottom and had a very balanced attack. We had a lot of quality at-bats today, and the guys did a good job of executing. We separated when we needed to."
On getting out of jams on the mound ... "We got ourselves into and out of a lot of jams. I think we allowed the leadoff hitter to get on base more than half the time. There was one stretch where we walked the leadoff hitter and had a pair of two-out walks to load the bases, but we got out of it. We also had some nice team plays with a pick at third base and a 31 move to cut off a runner at the plate. There were some nice defensive plays and big strikeouts by (James) Bourque, (Logan) McAnallen and (Alex) Lakatos to not allow the other team to get the big hit. That was huge. It was a very balanced attack today and a great team win."
