• Junior RF Michael O'Neill, who is hitting .485 (16-for-33) to lead the team, was 4-for-5 with four singles, two runs scored and three stolen bases. O'Neill scored the tying run in the eighth inning after collecting his third stolen base of the game.

• O'Neill's first-inning single extended his hitting streak to 11 games including the final four games of 2012.

• O'Neill, who collected his fourth career four-hit game as a Wolverine on Friday, has six multi-hit games this season and 38 career multiple-hit games.

• With three stolen bases Friday, O'Neill has five for the season and is now in fifth place on U-M's all-time stolen base list with 54 in 102 games. O'Neill moved from seventh -- edging out Rodney Goble (52 steals, 1992-95) and Brad Roblin (53 steals, 2004-07). Steve Finken (65 stolen bases, 1986-88) is fourth on the list.

• Senior captain CF Patrick Biondi, who is hitting .346 (9-for-26), was 1-for-3. Biondi drew a walk, was hit by a pitch, scored twice and collected a stolen base while reaching base three times in five plate appearances.

• Biondi extended his team-leading hitting streak to 14 games with his sixth-inning single. He has hits in 25 of his last 27 games.

• Biondi tied Michigan's all-time stolen base record with his third-inning steal, his second of the season. Biondi shares the U-M record with 90 stolen bases with Eric Rose (90 steals. 2004-07).

• Biondi scored two runs, giving him seven for the season to push his career total to 156 runs scored. Biondi is tied for 11th on U-M's career runs scored list with Nate Recknagel (156 runs, 2006-08). Eric Rose (161 runs scored, 2004-07) is 10th.

• Biondi led off the U-M first inning with a walk and he reached third on Michael O'Neill's single and he scored on a sac fly by 3B Travis Maezes. Biondi has scored in the first inning as Michigan's leadoff batter 45 times in his Wolverine career (21 times in 2010, 12 times in 2011, 10 times in 2012 and twice so far in 2012).

• Sophomore LF/DH Kevin White, who is hitting .360 (9-for-25), was 2-for-5 with a pair of singles. White, who has three of his 10 career multi-hit games this season in his 46 games as a Wolverine, has hits in 20 of his last 24 games.

• Senior/junior DH John DiLaura, who is hitting .667 (4-for-6), was 1-for-2 with a walk and a sac fly. DiLaura has reached base nine times in three games this season and has a three-game hitting streak.

• Sophomore 1B/DH Kyle Jusick, who is hitting .286 (4-for-14), was 1-for-4 with a run-scoring single in the eighth inning to snap a 7-7 tie in U-M's 8-7 win. The game-winning hit was Jusick's second of the season and his U-M career.

• Senior RHP Kyle Clark (0-0, 0.00 ERA, one save) worked a 1-2-3 ninth inning with three strikeouts to collect his first career save. Clark has six strikeouts in 4.1 scoreless innings out of the bullpen this season.
