Freshman SS/3B Travis Maezes, who is hitting .317 (19-for-60), was 2-for-5 with a double, a stolen base and two runs scored. He doubled and scored the tying run at 4-4 in the top of the seventh inning.
Maezes, who has five multi-hit games this season, leads the Wolverines with eight stolen bases.
Junior OF Michael O'Neill, who is hitting .431 (31-for-72) to lead the team, was 1-for-4 with a single and a HBP.
O'Neill, making his season debut leading off and playing CF, singled in the fourth inning to extend his hitting streak to 20 games including the final four games of 2012. O'Neill leads the team with his 16-game hit streak this season, while senior captain CF Patrick Biondi's streaks are on hold at 22 games overall and 15 games in 2013.
O'Neill has made three starts in CF in his U-M career with one each in 2011, 2012 and 2013, while he has made 12 career starts as U-M's leadoff hitter with the first 11 in his freshman season of 2011.
Junior DH Brett Winger, who missed the first 15 games of 2013 due to injury, went 1-for-3 in his season debut.
Winger, who is hitting .333 (1-for-3), used a sixth-inning single to extend his hitting streak to seven games in a streak that includes the final six games of 2012. Winger led Michigan in Big Ten action in 2012 with a .326 conference average (30-for-92), and his overall average of .295 (59-for-200) was third on the team.
Sophomore 3B/SS Dylan Delaney, who is hitting .275 (11-for-40), reached base three times in four plate appearances with a single, a walk and a HBP. He has reached base eight times in his last 11 plate appearances in the past three games.
Delaney was 1-for-2, and his fourth-inning single extended his career-best hitting streak to five games.
Freshman 2B/RHP Jacob Cronenworth, who is hitting .310 (18-for-58), was 1-for-4 with a single, a walk and his team-leading 16th RBI.
