Sophomore 1B Brett Winger, who is hitting .301 (22-for-73), was 1-for-3 with a three-run game-winning single in the seventh inning. Winger, who leads the team with three game-winning RBI this season, has hits in 12 of his last 14 games.
Senior catcher/DH Coley Crank, who is hitting .200 (13-for-65), was 1-for-4 with a single and three RBI. Crank has 16 RBI this season and 124 in his U-M career.
Sophomore RF Michael O'Neill, who is hitting .363 (29-for-80), was 2-for-4 with a double and a triple.
O'Neill leads the team with 11 multi-hit games this season, and he has 27 career multi-hit games, 40 career stolen bases, 17 career doubles, three career triples and eight career homers.
Junior co-captain CF/2B Patrick Biondi, who is hitting .243 (18-for-74), was 1-for-4 with two runs scored, one walk and a stolen base. Biondi has scored 18 times this season and 123 times in 131 games in his Wolverine career.
Biondi, who leads the Wolverines with 12 stolen bases, collected his 68th career steal. Biondi ranks third on U-M's career stolen base list as he chases former Wolverine LF Jim Durham (74 steals, 1986-89) in second place. The record is 90 stolen bases set by CF Eric Rose (2004-07).
Biondi led off the U-M first inning with a single and scored on a Coley Crank single. Biondi has scored in the first inning as Michigan's leadoff batter 37 times in his Wolverine career (21 times in 2010, 12 times in 2011 and four times so far in 2012).
Junior RHP Kyle Clark (2-2, 7.20 ERA) pitched 6.1 innings out of the bullpen, allowing seven hits, two runs (both earned) with three strikeouts to record the win. Clark, who has four career wins as a Wolverine, has 13 strikeouts in 20 innings of work in 2012.
Freshman RHP Matt Ogden (1-1, 4.50 ERA, one save) pitched two scoreless innings without allowing a hit while recording one strikeout as he earned his first save as a Wolverine. Ogden, who had a win and a save this weekend, has 11 strikeouts in his 12 innings of work in six appearances out of the bullpen this season.
Freshman SS Dylan Delaney, who is hitting .180 (11-for-61), was 1-for-3 with a sac bunt. Delaney has a three-game hitting streak for the second time this season.
