• Freshman SS Travis Maezes, who is hitting .300 (21-for-70), was 2-for-4 with a pair of singles while making his first start as U-M's leadoff hitter.

• Maezes, the lone Wolverine to reach base in all 19 games this season, has six multi-hit games in 2013.

• Sophomore OF/DH Zach Zott, who is hitting .194 (6-for-31), was 2-for-4 with a run-scoring double and a pair of stolen bases.

• Zott, who has six stolen bases this season, collected his first multi-hit game of 2013 and his sixth as a Wolverine.

• Junior DH Brett Winger, who is hitting .143 (2-for-14), was 1-for-4 with a run scored and his first career stolen base. Winger was credited of a steal of home in the second inning when he was breaking for the plate on a squeeze play and a wild pitch was thrown.

• Junior OF Michael O'Neill, who is hitting .388 (33-for-85), was 0-for-4. O'Neill has hits in 17 of the 19 games this season and 21 of his last 23 games.
