Freshman LF Will Drake, who is hitting .330 (38-for-115), was 1-for-4 with a run-scoring single that snapped a 1-1 tie in the first inning. The single proved to be Drake's third game-winning RBI of the season and he has hits in eight of his nine games.
Sophomore catcher Cole Martin, who is hitting .250 (15-for-60), was 1-for-3 with two RBI. Martin has hits in nine of his last 11 games.

Biondi, who leads the Wolverines with 18 stolen bases, collected his 74th career steal to tie former Wolverine LF Jim Durham (74 steals, 1986-89) for second place on U-M's career stolen base list. The record is 90 stolen bases set by CF Eric Rose (2004-07).
Biondi led off the U-M first inning with a walk, advanced to third base on a walk and a wild pitch, and he scored on a Michael O'Neill infield grounder. Biondi has scored in the first inning as Michigan's leadoff batter 41 times in his Wolverine career (21 times in 2010, 12 times in 2011 and eight times so far in 2012).
