• Freshman 2B/RHP Jacob Cronenworth, who is hitting .339 (39-for-115), was 1-for-4 with a fourth-inning single to extend his season/career-best hitting streak to 16 games. The 16-game hitting streak ties senior OF Patrick Biondi and junior OF Mike O'Neill for the best streaks of 2013.

• Junior OF Michael O'Neill, who is hitting .353 (47-for-133), was 2-for-4 with a run-scoring double. O'Neill leads the team with 11 doubles in 2013 and he has 31 career doubles at U-M.

• O'Neill leads the team with a personal career-best total of 17 multi-hit games this season and he has 49 career multiple-hit games. O'Neill collected 16 multiple-hit games in each of his first two seasons as a Wolverine.

• O'Neill has hits in 25 of the 31 games this season and in 29 of his last 35 games in the past two seasons.

• Freshman 1B Jack Sexton, who is hitting .227 (20-for-88) was 2-for-4 with a pair of singles. Sexton, who has a three-game hitting streak, has five multi-hit games in 2013.

• Junior catcher Cole Martin, who is hitting .211 (20-for-95, was 2-for-3 with a single, a double and a run-scored. Martin scored the game-winning run on a wild pitch in the third inning.

• Martin, who has a four-game hitting streak, is 12-for-24 (.500) with five doubles and a homer in his last eight games.

• Martin has six multi-hit games in 2013 and 10 career multiple-hit games in his career as a Wolverine.

• Sophomore RF Kevin White, who is hitting .250 (22-for-88) was 2-for-4 with a run-scoring double, a single and one run scored.

• White has eight multi-hit games in 2013 and 15 in his 64 career games as a Wolverine.

• Sophomore RHP James Bourque (3-4, 4.55 ERA) worked the first 5.1 innings allowing five hits and one run while recording his third win of the season. Bourque fanned four to push his season total to 26 in 31.2 innings pitched in his nine outings that includes six starts.

• Bourque (5-5), who has back-to-back wins, has five career wins as a Wolverine.

• Sophomore RHP Matt Ogden (3-0, 2.49 ERA, one save) pitched 3.2 scoreless innings out of the bullpen allowing one hit and recording four strikeouts to record his first save of the season. The save was the fourth in 30 appearances in his U-M career.
