Jackson Glines picked up his 13th multi-hit game of the season, going 2-for-2 with a sacrifice fly and a hit by pitch in the 4-2 win over Illinois.

• Glines has reached base in 10 straight games.

• Glines was 7-for-10 with three doubles, three runs scored and two RBI in the Illinois series.

Travis Maezes extended his hitting streak to nine games after his third inning double in the win over Illinois.

Jacob Cronenworth picked up his 14th career save in the win over Illinois. Cronenworth is sixth on U-M 's all-time saves list.

Carmen Benedetti went 6-for-11 with three doubles and four RBI in the Illinois series. Benedetti was 2-for-4 in today's win over the Fighting Illini.

• Michigan picks up its third straight series win over Illinois. The Maize and Blue won the series in both 2010 and 2011.

• Michigan ends the first half of the Big Ten schedule with a 6-6 record. U-M had series wins against Illinois and Iowa and dropped 2-of-3 to Indiana and Minnesota.
