• Michigan (20-11) used a five-run sixth inning and added two runs in the eighth for an 8-5 comeback win.

• Michigan's win was the 20th win of the season in the 31st game of 2010. It marks the 36th consecutive season for the Wolverines to have 20 wins or more dating back to an 18-14-1 season in 1974.

• Senior OF/3B Mike Kittle, who is hitting .340 (17-for-50), was 2-for-3 with a walk, his first career home run and three runs batted in. Kittle's run-scoring single in the sixth inning snapped a 4-4 tie and proved to be his first career game-winning RBI. Kittle's two-run homer provided insurance in the eighth inning. He has six of his seven career multi-hit games this season.

• Senior/junior 2B Anthony Toth, who is hitting .323 (40-for-124), was 2-for-3 with a double and his first career home run. Toth gave U-M a 1-0 lead with a run-scoring double in the first inning and his long homer to left-centerfield sparked the five-run sixth-inning rally. Toth has 13 multi-hit games this season and 32 in his U-M career.

• Junior RHP Tyler Burgoon (4-1, 3.57 ERA, six saves) worked two scoreless innings and struck out the side in the ninth inning to record his team-leading sixth save of the season.

• Burgoon's save is the 15th of his career, pulling him into a tie for third on U-M's career saves list with Tyler Steketee (15 saves, 1995-98) and Greg Everson (15 saves, 1985-87). Burgoon is 10-3 with 15 saves in 52 pitching appearances in his U-M career.

• Junior OF Ryan LaMarre, who is hitting .500 (17-for-34), was 1-for-3. He extended his hitting streak to 12 games, which includes the final three games of 2009 and all nine of his starts this season.

• Freshman OF Patrick Biondi, who is hitting .379 (47-for-124), was 0-for-3, but he walked to lead off the first inning, stole second base and scored on Anthony Toth's first-inning double.
