• Sophomore CF Patrick Biondi, who is hitting .305 (40-for-131) to lead the team, was 1-for-3 with a walk, a run scored and a stolen base. He is hitting .478 (11-for-23) with seven stolen bases during his current six-game hitting streak.

• Biondi led off the first inning with a walk and he stole second base and scored on a two-out double by Coley Crank. Biondi has scored in the first inning as U-M's leadoff batter seven times this season, five times in seven Big Ten games, and 28 times in his U-M career.

• Biondi, who leads the team with 18 stolen bases, ranks sixth on U-M's career stolen base with 47, leaving him five behind Rodney Goble (52, 1992-95) for fifth place on U-M's career steals list.

• Junior catcher/DH Coley Crank, who is hitting .254 (29-for-114), was 1-for-4 with a run-scoring double. Crank has a five-game hitting streak with hits in 12 of his last 13 games. Crank leads the team with three home runs and 12 doubles this season.

• Crank has 15 extra-base hits (12 doubles and three homers) among his 29 hits this year. Crank has 31 career doubles.

• Crank shares the team lead at 15 runs batted in with Michael O'Neill this season and Crank has 90 career RBI.

• Freshman RHP/DH Alex Lakatos, who is hitting .308 (20-for-65), was 1-for-3. Lakatos has hits in eight of his last 10 games.

• Freshman RF Michael O'Neill, who is hitting .302 (38-for-126), was 1-for-4. O'Neill has hits in 27 of his 32 games this season. O'Neill shares the team lead with 15 RBI and he is second with 38 hits and 16 stolen bases.

• Freshman catcher Cole Martin entered as a defensive replacement in the seventh inning and he was 1-for-2 with a single and a run scored as he matched his season best with a two-game hitting streak.
