• Tuesday's victory is the 10th straight for the Wolverines, the best since a 16-game win streak in 2008. The last 10-game winning streak for U-M came in 2007 starting April 21 against Purdue and including the first game of a May 5 doubleheader with Illinois.

• Sophomore RHP James Bourque (4-4, 3.51 ERA) pitched 7.2 scoreless, no-hit innings before allowing a two-out single in the eighth inning. Bourque fanned eight and walked two batters while collecting his fourth win of the season.

• The last time a Wolverine individual hurler worked a no-hitter into the eighth inning was Zach Putnam when he went 8.2 innings in a complete-game loss to eventual national champ Oregon State in NCAA Super Regional play on June 10, 2007. OSU's first hit came in the ninth inning and drove in the lone run in a 1-0 U-M loss.

• Bourque collected both of Michigan's win vs. Notre Dame this season, allowing one run on six hits with 12 strikeouts while pitching 13 innings for an ERA of 0.69 against the Irish.

• Bourque (6-5), who has recorded back-to-back-to-back wins, has six career wins as a Wolverine.

• Sophomore RF Kevin White, who is hitting .276 (27-for-98), was 4-for-4 with a double, three singles and two runs scored. White has two four-hit games in 2013.

• White has nine multi-hit games in 2013 and 16 in his 68 career games as a Wolverine.

• Sophomore LF Zach Zott, who is hitting .315 (28-for-89), was 1-for-2 with his second home run of the season, a hit-by-pitch, a walk and three runs scored.

• Zott's first-inning solo homer proved to be his fourth game-winning RBI in 2013 to share the team lead. He has four career gamers as a Wolverine.

• Junior catcher Cole Martin, who is hitting .227 (25-for-110), was 3-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI.

• Martin, who has a three-game hitting streak, has seven multi-hit games in 2013, and he shares the team lead with four three-hit games. He 12 career multiple-hit games in his career as a Wolverine.

• Junior OF Michael O'Neill, who is hitting .362 (54-for-149), was 1-for-5 with a first-inning single to give him a current team-leading five-game hitting streak.

• O'Neill has hits in 29 of the 35 games this season and in 33 of his last 39 games in the past two seasons.

• Senior captain CF Patrick Biondi, who is hitting .333 (29-for-87), went 2-for-5 with a pair doubles and one RBI.

• Biondi, who has hits in 36 of his last 44 games, has his 34 career double in 196 games.

• Biondi has nine multi-hit games this season and 66 in his U-M career.

• Freshman 3B/RHP Jacob Cronenworth, who is hitting .333 (43-for-129), was 1-for-5.

• Cronenworth, who has a three-game hitting streak, has hits in 19 of his last 20 games, and he has reached base in 20 consecutive games.
