• Junior OF Michael O'Neill, who is hitting .347 (58-for-167), was 2-for-4 with a pair of singles and a run scored. O'Neill leads the team with a career and season-best 20 multi-hit games in 2013, and he has 52 career multiple-hit games. He has hits in 32 of the 40 games this season and in 36 of his last 44 games in the past two seasons.

• Sophomore LF Zach Zott, who is hitting .330 (36-for-109), was 2-for-4 with a run-scoring single. Zott has a six-game hitting streak.

• Zott, who is hitting .396 (19-for-48) in Big Ten play, has 12 multi-hit games this season and 17 in his U-M career.

• Senior captain CF Patrick Biondi, who is hitting .324 (35-for-108), was 1-for-4 with a sixth-inning bunt-single to extend his hitting streak to four games.

• Junior catcher Cole Martin, who is hitting .248 (32-for-129), was 1-for-4 with a seventh-inning single. Martin, who is hitting .340 (16-for-47) in Big Ten play, has matched his season personal best with a four-game hitting streak.

• Freshman SS Travis Maezes, who is hitting .295 (46-for-156), was 1-for-3 with an eighth-inning single and a walk. Maezes is hitting .423 (22-for-52) in Big Ten play.
