• Freshman 2B/RHP Jacob Cronenworth, who is hitting .324 (48-for-148), was 2-for-4 with a run scored. Cronenworth has 12 multi-hit games on the season to share second on the team.

• Sophomore RHP Donnie Eaton (0-0, 0.00 ERA) made his Big Ten pitching debut with three scoreless innings, allowing two hits with two walks and two strikeouts. Eaton more than doubled his career innings pitched total, moving to 5.1 innings.

• Junior OF Michael O'Neill, who is hitting .345 (59-for-171), was 1-for-4 with a double, a run scored and one RBI. O'Neill has hits in 33 of the 41 games this season and in 37 of his last 45 games in the past two seasons.

• O'Neill collected his team-leading 15th double of the season in the eighth inning as he pushed his career total to 35 doubles in 136 career games as a Wolverine. He has 179 career hits.

• Freshman SS Travis Maezes, who is hitting .296 (47-for-159), was 1-for-3 with a single and a sac bunt. Maezes is hitting .418 (23-for-55) in Big Ten play.

• With his-first inning stolen base, Biondi has 15 for the season as he pushed his all-time U-M stolen base record total to 103 stolen bases in 202 career games.

• Biondi scored one run, giving him 26 runs scored in 2013 to push his career total to 175 runs to tie Phil Price (175 runs scored, 1987-90) for third place on U-M's career runs scored list -- one shy of Ken Hayward (176 runs, 1982-85) for second place. The record is 190 runs scored by Casey Close (1983-86).

• Biondi has now scored in the first inning as Michigan's leadoff batter 50 times in his Wolverine career (21 times in 2010, 12 times in 2011, 10 times in 2012 and seven times so far in 2013).
