• Michigan (28-15) collected just six hits in the 9-8 win.

• Senior 1B Mike Dufek, who is hitting .322 (57-for-177), was 2-for-4 with a pair of homers and five RBI. Dufek hit a solo homer in the second inning and a grand slam homer in the five-run fourth inning.

• Dufek's grand slam was the first for a Wolverine since OF Garrett Stephens hit one at Indiana on April 2, and the two homers were the most in a game for a Wolverine since C/DH Coley Crank hit three homers in the 2010 season opener against Jacksonville State on Feb. 19.

• In Dufek's last two games at WMU, he is 8-for-10 with four homers and 10 RBI. Dufek was 6-for-6 with two homers in U-M's 20-1 win at WMU on May 5, 2009.

• Dufek has three two-homer games in his career, at WMU and Northwestern in 2009 and at WMU in 2010.

• Dufek has 43 doubles, 25 homers and 133 RBI in his Michigan career.

• Senior RF Nick Urban, who is hitting .290 (40-for-138), was 2-for-4 with a pair of run-scoring singles. Urban's second single pushed his season RBI total to 30 to match his season-best total set in 2009. Urban has 10 multi-hit games this season and 22 for his career. He also stole two bases, giving him 15 for the season and 25 for his career.

• Junior OF Ryan LaMarre, who is hitting .440 (37-for-84), was 1-for-4, giving him hits in 22 of his last 24 games.
