Sophomore CF Patrick Biondi, who is hitting .294 (55-for-187), was 2-for-4 with two singles and one run scored. Biondi, who has a three-game hitting streak, has scored 102 runs in 104 games in his Wolverine career.
Biondi's two-hit game was his team-leading 16th multi-hit game of the season and he has 37 career multi-hit games.
Freshman RF Michael O'Neill, who is hitting .302 (57-for-189) to lead the team, was 1-for-3 with a first-inning single, a hit-by-pitch and a stolen base. O'Neill has hits in 39 of his 47 games this season.
O'Neill, with one stolen base, has pulled into a tie for the team lead with OF Patrick Biondi as each has 24 steals for the season. O'Neill is five stolen bases behind the U-M rookie record for steals in a season set by Biondi (29, 2010) last season.
Freshman 1B Brett Winger, who is hitting .283 (13-for-46), was 1-for-3 with a seventh-inning single to extend his career-best overall hitting streak to five games.
Junior/sophomore IF/OF Kevin Krantz, who is hitting .218 (31-for-142), was 1-for-4 with one run batted in. Krantz is third on the team with 22 RBI.
Junior LF/catcher/DH Coley Crank, who is hitting .257 (43-for-167), was 0-for-3 with a first-inning RBI groundout. Crank leads the team with 27 RBI this season, pushing his career total to 102 as a Wolverine.
