Freshman LF Kevin White, who is hitting .241 (20-for-83), was 1-for-4 and he scored the winning run.
White's first-inning single extended his career personal-best hitting streak to 10 games, tying U-M's season best set earlier in the season by RF Michael O'Neill.
Junior/sophomore 2B/DH John DiLaura, who is hitting .296 (37-for-125), was 3-for-3 with a run-scoring double, two singles and a walk.
DiLaura, who has five doubles this season, has 11 multi-hit games this season and 15 for his career. He has three career three-hit games as a Wolverine.
Senior catcher Coley Crank, who is hitting .260 (44-for-169), was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI. Crank has seven doubles this season and 43 in his U-M career.
Crank, who leads the team with 40 RBI, has 148 career RBI in 194 games. Crank has 11 multi-hit games this season and 49 for his U-M career.
Sophomore 1B Brett Winger, who is hitting .295 (51-for-173), was 0-for-2, but his first-inning sac fly gave the Wolverines a 1-0 lead and it proved to be his team-leading sixth game-winning RBI of the season.
Sophomore RF Michael O'Neill, who is hitting .338 (46-for-136), was 1-for-2 with a double, two walks, two runs scored and a stolen base.
O'Neill's first-inning double, his 11th of the season to tie Patrick Biondi for the team lead, gives him hits in all five games since his return from injury.
O'Neill ranks second on the team with 17 stolen bases and he ranks seventh on the U-M career steals list with 47 in 88 games.
Freshman SS Dylan Delaney, who is hitting .194 (33-for-170), was 2-for-2 with a pair of sac bunts. He has eight multi-hit games this season.
Freshman RHP Matt Ogden (3-3, 3.19 ERA, three saves) pitched five scoreless innings, allowing one hit with two strikeouts to record his third win of the season. The five innings matched his previous season best in a non-decision vs. Michigan State.
Ogden leads the U-M pitching staff, with 18 appearances with all of them out of the bullpen. He leads U-M with three saves.
Freshman LF/DH Will Drake, who is hitting .295 (44-for-147), was 1-for-4 with a run scored in his first start since missing 10 games due to injury. Drake singled to open the second inning and he scored from first on John DiLaura's double to give U-M a 3-0 lead. Drake has scored 27 runs this season.
Senior/junior LHP Bobby Brosnahan (3-3; 3.48 ERA) pitched three scoreless innings, allowing one hit in a non-decision start. It was his first start since the Minnesota series to open Big Ten play.
