• Junior OF Michael O'Neill, who is hitting .350 (71-for-203) to lead the team, was 3-for-5 with three singles, two stolen bases, one run scored and one RBI. O'Neill's run-scoring single in the eighth-inning snapped the 8-8 tie and proved to be his fifth game-winning RBI of the season. He is Michigan's active career lead with 11 gamers.

• O'Neill leads the team with a personal career season-best 25 multi-hit games in 2013, and he has 57 career multiple-hit games.  He has five three-hit games in 2013 and 12 in his U-M career.

• O'Neill has hits in 39 of the 48 games this season and in 43 of his last 52 games in the past two seasons.

• With O'Neill's two stolen bases, he has a team-leading 20 for the season and 69 in his career. O'Neill is fourth on U-M's career stolen base list five behind Jim Durham (74 steals, 1986-89) in third place.

• Freshman 3B/RHP Jacob Cronenworth, who is hitting .314 (54-for-172), was 2-for-5 with a triple, a single, a run scored and two RBI. Cronenworth, who leads U-M with 34 RBI, is third on the team with 14 multi-hit games this season.

• Sophomore OF Kevin White, who is hitting .269 (35-for-130) was 2-for-3 with a two-run double, a single a walk and two RBI. White's fourth-inning single extended his personal season-best hitting streak to three games. White has 11 multi-hit games in 2013 and 18 in his career as a Wolverine.

• Sophomore RHP Matt Ogden (6-1, 2.66 ERA, two saves) suffered a blown save in the eighth when a potential inning-ending double play turned into a game-tying fielder's choice, but his 1.2 scoreless innings of work was enough to record his sixth win of the season.

• Ogden, who has nine wins in his U-M career, is 3-1 with a team-leading 1.35 ERA in Big Ten play in 2013.

• Junior catcher Cole Martin, who is hitting .239 (37-for-155), was 2-for-4 with a pair of singles and a run scored. Martin, who is hitting .304 (21-for-69) in Big Ten play, has 12 multi-hit games in overall action in 2013, and he has 17 career multi-hit games as a Wolverine.

• Sophomore 1B Kyle Jusick, who is hitting .263 (25-for-95), was 2-for-4 with two singles and one RBI. Jusick has six multi-hit games in 2013.

• Freshman SS Travis Maezes, who is hitting .309 (58-for-188), was 1-for-5 with a two-run double and three RBI as he extended his personal season-best hitting streak to five games. Maezes, who is hitting .400 (30-for-75) in Big Ten play to lead the Wolverines, ranks second on the team in overall action with 33 RBI.
