• Junior OF Michael O'Neill, who is hitting .359 (79-for-220) to lead the team, was 1-for-4 with a solo homer, two runs scored, a stolen base and one RBI and was hit by a pitch. O'Neill extended his current hitting streak to six games with his first-inning homer. The homer is O'Neill's 12th career round-tripper and leads the team with four homers. He has three homers in the past four games, with one each vs. Purdue, Seton Hall and Nebraska.

• O'Neill, who is hitting .303 (27-for-89) in Big Ten play to rank second on the team, has 199 career hits in 147 games as a Wolverine.

• O'Neill has hits in 43 of the 52 games this season and in 47 of his last 56 games in the past two seasons.

• With a stolen base, O'Neill has a team-leading total of 23 stolen bases for the season. His career total is 72, fourth on U-M's career stolen-base list, just two behind Jim Durham (74 steals, 1986-89) in third place.

• Senior captain CF Patrick Biondi, who is hitting .302 (45-for-149), was 3-for-5 with three singles, one RBI and one run scored. Biondi has 14 multi-hit games this season and 71 in his U-M career. He has four of his 17 career three-hit games in 2013.

• Biondi scored one run, giving him 35 runs scored in 2013 to push his career total to 184 runs to rank second on U-M's career runs scored list. The record is 190 runs scored by Casey Close (1983-86).

• Sophomore LF Zach Zott, who is hitting .289 (43-for-149), was 2-for-4 with a pair of scoring singles, three RBI and was hit by a pitch.

• Zott's two-out, two-run single in the seventh inning snapped a 5-5 tie, and it proved to be Zott's team-leading sixth game-winning RBI of the season.

• Zott, who is hitting .309 (25-for-81) in Big Ten play, has 13 multi-hit games in overall action this season and 18 in his U-M career.

• Freshman SS Travis Maezes, who is hitting .309 (63-for-204), was 2-for-5 with a pair of singles and two RBI. His two-out, two-run single in the seventh inning tied the game at 5-5.

• Maezes, who is hitting .398 (35-for-88) in Big Ten play to lead the Wolverines, ranks second on the team in overall action with 37 RBI.

• Maezes has 11 multi-hit games in Big Ten action to lead the Wolverines in 2013, and he is second on the team in overall action with 18 multi-hit games.

• Freshman 3B/RHP Jacob Cronenworth, who is hitting .319 (60-for-188), was 3-for-5 with three singles and a run scored. Cronenworth, who leads U-M with 38 RBI, has four three-hit games in 2013, and he is third on the team with 16 multi-hit games.

• Cronenworth (0-3, 1.93 ERA, seven saves) worked a scoreless ninth inning ,allowing two hits and recording a strikeout as he recorded his team-leading seventh save of the year.

• Cronenworth has 24 strikeouts in his 23.1 innings of work in his 15 appearances in relief this season.

• Cronenworth got his seventh save of the season, which pulls him into a three-way tie for seventh place on Michigan's single-season saves list with John Arvai (1996) and Tim Karazim (1983). Bobby Korecky (1999-2002) and Ken Hayward (1982-85) are tied for 13th with Cronenworth on U-M's career saves list.

• Sophomore OF/DH Kevin White, who is hitting .276 (40-for-145), was 2-for-5 with a pair of singles as he extended his season-best hitting streak to seven games. White has 12 multi-hit games in 2013 and 19 in his career as a Wolverine.

• Sophomore RHP James Bourque (5-6, 5.06 ERA, one save) pitched 3.2 scoreless innings, allowing two hits and recording six strikeouts for his fifth win of the season. Bourque, who leads the team with 11 (5-6) decisions in 2013 and has a 7-7 in his U-M career, is second on the team with 48 strikeouts in his 53.1 innings in 2013.
