• Michigan seniors Ben Ballantine, Alex Lakatos, Cole Martin, Logan McAnallen and Brett Winger were honored before today's game.

Ben Ballantine made his 64th career appearance. That ties him for ninth place on U-M's career appearances list with Bobby Korecky (1999-2002) and Brandon Sinnery (2009-12).

• Michigan's starting pitching has not allowed a run in the last 33 innings.

• The Wolverines earn their first shutout of the season.

• Michigan moved to third in the Big Ten in team earned-run average at 3.19.

• Three of Kansas' four hits were of the infield variety.

Evan Hill picked up his first career save, striking out four in 3.1 innings of relief.

Cole Martin recorded his 12th multi-hit game and third multi-RBI performance of the season.

Jackson Glines doubled for the 19th time this season and is tied for second in the Big Ten in doubles.
