Sophomore/freshman 2B/catcher John DiLaura, who is hitting .241 (13-for-54), was 2-for-4 with a pair of singles. DiLaura has four multi-hit games this season.
Freshman catcher Cole Martin, who is hitting .234 (15-for-64), was 2-for-3 with a pair of singles and a walk. Martin has three two-hit games this season.
Sophomore CF Patrick Biondi, who is hitting .298 (61-for-205) to lead the team, was 1-for-3 with a walk and two stolen bases.
Biondi, who is second on the team with 27 stolen bases, is fourth place on Michigan's career stolen base list with 56 steals as he chases Steve Finken (65 steals 1986-88) in third place.
Freshman RF Michael O'Neill, who is hitting .295 (61-for-207), was 1-for-5. O'Neill has hits in 42 of his 52 games this season.
Junior 3B John Lorenz, who is hitting .229 (44-for-192) for the season, was 1-for-3 with a third-inning double. He is second on the team with 11 doubles for the year and has 33 for his U-M career.
Junior RHP Brandon Sinnery (2-5, 2.92 ERA) pitched 8.0 innings, allowing four hits and one earned run. Sinnery had seven strikeouts to push his team-leading total to 46 Ks in 68 innings.
Freshman 1B Brett Winger, who is hitting .283 (17-for-60), was 1-for-1 with a second-inning single as he extended his Big Ten hitting streak to nine games. Winger has hits in nine of his last 10 overall games.
