After my baseball career I would like to ... Attend medical school and have a long career in medicine. Hopefully, if everything works out, I will become a successful orthopedic surgeon and own a private practice.

My mother and father. They are incredibly humble and hard-working people who do things the right way. They have given me everything and asked for nothing in return.

Football
My advice for kids ... That discipline and commitment can take you a long way. Have the courage to commit to something you desire to achieve and the discipline to stick with it. These qualities add up to your work ethic and work ethic is a characteristic that is more powerful than any amount of intelligence or talent.

I love Robert Downey Jr., Jeremy Renner and Leonardo DiCaprio. As far as actresses, I am a big fan of Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Beckinsale, Emily Blunt and Natalie Portman.
Favorite video game ... I am not a big video game guy but if I were to pick one it would be NCAA Football 2003, the one with Joey Harrington on the cover.
Favorite food ... My mom's pasta sauce with meatballs
One word to describe Erik Bakich ... Passionate
The fastest guy on the team is ... It is between Jacob Cronenworth, Alex Lakatos and Kyle Jusick
The strongest player on the team ... Keith Lehmann
One thing people don't know about me is ... I am weirdly good at quoting movies.
If I had one wish it would be to ... Teleport, like in the movie Jumper.
One think I want to accomplish at Michigan is ... From an academic standpoint, to graduate with a cumulative 3.5 GPA, majoring in general biology and minoring in Spanish. From an athletic standpoint, to win a Big Ten title.
