  • Although the regular season doesn't officially end until Wednesday (April 16), all 16 playoff spots have been clinched. The NBA playoffs begin on Saturday (April 19), and the schedule will be announced after the regular season concludes.
  • Although Utah missed the playoffs, Trey Burke emerged as a valuable player in the Jazz offense, becoming their fourth-leading scorer and the team in assist leader. He also led all Utah point guards in playing time, averaging just over 32 minutes a game.
  • The New York Knicks barely missed the eighth seed in the East, despite contribution by Tim Hardaway Jr. off the bench. Hardaway led the Knicks in games played, averaging ten points and 22.8 minutes a game.
  • Los Angeles Clippers guard Jamal Crawford has been dealing with a calf injury and returned Saturday against Sacramento, where he scored 10 points in just 19 minutes. The Clippers were allowing him to rest for playoffs, where they currently sit at No. 3 in the West.
