Peter Kahler begins his second year with the University of Michigan men's basketball program serving as the program's video coordinator.
Kahler manages and assists the entire basketball staff with the video operations for the program. He heads up the film exchange program, coordinates the recording of opponent games and assists with preparation for scouting reports. In addition, he leads a managerial staff responsible for the filming of all U-M practice and games, as well as assisting with the organization and running of Michigan basketball camps and the U-M coaching clinic.
Kahler spent the last four seasons with head coach Tim O'Shea at Ohio University (2006-08) and at Bryant University (2008-10). While with the Bulldogs, Kahler served the director of basketball operations and was responsible for the program's video coordination, team travel, the monitoring of player's academics and directing all of Bryant's summer basketball camps. He also assisted in the program's transition from Division II to Division I.
He began his career serving as Ohio's video coordinator as a graduate assistant under O'Shea while assisting the OU coaching staff with video scouting reports and handling the team's travel and operational activities. He served as the team's assistant director of basketball summer camps.
A 2006 graduate of Xavier University with a bachelor's degree in marketing, Kahler has continued to pursue his master's degree of education from Ohio University.
