• With the win on the road at the Kohl Center earlier in the season (Jan. 18, 77-70) and today's home loss, Michigan has earned a season split with Wisconsin. Overall, U-M is 91-67 all-time against the Badgers, with a 55-22 mark at home.

• The Wolverines move to 18-7 overall and 10-3 in conference play, placing them second in the Big Ten standings with five contests remaining.

• The Wolverines added to their Big Ten-leading 78.3 percent team free throw percentage by going 16-for-18 (88.9 percent) from the charity stripe. It marked the 16th game this season U-M has shot 75 percent or better as a unit. The team is now up to an even 79 percent (189-for-239) in conference play.

Caris LeVert scored a career-high 25 points on 7-for-13 shooting (53.8 percent) and chipped in six rebounds. It marked his sixth career 20-point effort and 16th double-digit game of the season.

Caris LeVert has averaged 16.4 points per game over his last seven games, shooting 45.5 percent (35-for-77) from the floor and 48.5 percent (16-for-33) from three. He has also added 6.4 rebounds per contest though that stretch.

• U-M's starting lineup featured Derrick Walton Jr., Nik Stauskas, Caris LeVert, Glenn Robinson III and Jordan Morgan.

• Today's contest was sold out (12,707), marking the 34th sellout in the last 39 games at Crisler Center.
