• The 97-50 win over Northern Michigan was the 496th win at Crisler Arena.

• After taking a 2-0 lead early, Michigan never trailed for the rest of the game.

Manny Harris recorded his first career triple-double with 18 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists. It marked just the second triple-double in the program history. The last Michigan player to have a triple-double was Gary Grant (24 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists) on March 14, 1987, against North Carolina in the second round of the NCAA tournament.

•With Manny Harris' triple-double and DeShawn Sims' double-double (22 points, 10 rebounds), the two became the first Wolverine duo to post double-doubles in a game since the 2006-07 season. Courtney Sims (26 points, 10 rebounds) and Brent Petway (13 points, 11 rebounds) each had double-doubles against UW-Milwaukee (Nov. 15, 2006) in the championship finale of the John Thompson Challenge.

• Manny Harris' 10 assists marked just the third time in his career he has had 10 or more assists in a game. He had a career-best 13 against Oakland (Dec. 20, 2008) and had 10 at Ohio State (Jan. 28, 2009).

DeShawn Sims posted his seventh career double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds against Northern Michigan. The 22 points also marked his 11th career game with 20-plus points in a game.

• DeShawn Sims' 10 rebounds against Northern Michigan gave him 496 in his career. He is just four rebounds shy of becoming the 38th player in U-M history to record 500 rebounds in a career. After already scoring 1,070 career points, he also has a chance to become the 26th player in U-M history to reach 1,000 career points and 500 career rebounds.

Darius Morris made his first career start against Northern Michigan. He scored his first career points on a layup just 58 seconds into the game. Morris closed with 11 points, five assists and one rebound in 25 minutes.

Matt Vogrich scored his first career points on a three-point field goal late in the first half. He closed the game a perfect 5-for-5 from beyond the arc for the game, scoring a career-best 15 points in his first official game action for the Wolverines.

• With DeShawn Sims' 22 points, Manny Harris' 18, Matt Vogrich's 15, Darius Morris' 11 and Zack Gibson's 11, U-M had five players score in double digits for the first time since last season's game against Illinois (Jan. 9, 2009).

• Michigan posted its first 20-plus assist game against Northern Michigan, as the Wolverines had 24 total dimes -- led by Manny Harris' 10. It is the first time U-M had over 20 dimes in a game since recording 22 against Iowa (March 12, 2009) in the Big Ten Tournament.

• A total of four players appeared in their first career games for U-M. Darius Morris started his first career game, while Matt Vogrich, Eso Akunne and Josh Bartelstein came off the bench.
