2003-04 BKM vs. Fairfield -- Postgame Notes

Michigan held Fairfield to an opponent season-low 43 points. The last time the Wolverines held an opponent under 45 points was during the 1993-94 season when they defeated Central Michigan 86-44 at Crisler Arena.

U-M has held its opponents under 66 points in eight of its 11 games this season.


All but three of Horton's 17 points came before halftime.

Michigan allowed its opponent to score the game's opening basket for the first time in 11 games this season.

The Wolverines have had at least three players score in double figures in 10 games this year.

Bernard Robinson Jr. scored a game-high 19 points on 9-of-13 shooting. The nine field goals tie a season high and are one shy of his career high (10) set against Penn State on March 8, 2001. Robinson is six points away from tying Eric Turner (1981-84) for 22nd place on Michigan's all-time scoring list (1,251).

Bernard Robinson Jr. has scored double figures in nine of 11 games this season and has had at least one steal in every game this season.

Daniel Horton tied a season high with six field goals for 17 points, including 4-of-8 from the three-point line. Horton has hit at least three triples in four of 11 games this season.

Dion Harris finished the game with 13 points for his fifth game in double-digit scoring this season. The 13 points put him over 100 for his career. His three triples against Fairfield bring him one shy of 20 for his career.

Lester Abram collected 11 points and tied a career high with three steals. Abram has scored in double figures in eight of 11 games this season and in 24 of 41 career contests.

Courtney Sims collected two blocks to increase his team lead to 25 this season.

Brent Petway collected two blocks against Fairfield and has had at least one block in seven of 11 games this season. Petway ranks second on the team with 12 blocks this year.

Graham Brown notched a career-high three assists against Fairfield.

Amadou Ba notched his first career field goal attempt and grabbed his first career rebound in the final minute.
