U-M Head Coach Tommy Amaker
On Ohio State ... "They are a very good team. They were good on the perimeter and you give them credit for the things they did well. Our team, we played very poorly at the end of the first half and they started the second half the way they finished the first half. I was extremely disappointed with our ball club and how they responded to adversity. It's something we have to get better with."
On Michigan's performance ... "I think it was the worst performance for us this season. We tried to do a few things to take (Boban) Savovic from making threes, but they are very good on the perimeter. I thought they did a good job of getting to spots and creating open shots.
On the rest of the year in the Big Ten Conference ... "We had a great deal of respect coming in because we knew they were a good team. I think we shot poorly because we didn't work to get good shots. To beat a good team you have to work a little harder and show more patience. I'm not sure if we had any of those ingredients tonight. They are the top team in our conference right now and I think they showed why. We have a long ways to go but we're going to get our chances."
