The Young and Only
Senior center Chris Young dropped in a game-high 18 points on 5-of-6 shooting from field and 8-of-9 from the free throw line. Young's eight free throws are a season high, surpassing the seven he made against Duke (Dec. 8). Young added five rebounds, one steal and a blocked shot.

Young Moves Up the List
Chris Young moved into a tie for 11th place on Michigan's all-time season blocked shot list with his 36th rejection of the 2001-02 campaign. Young is tied with Robert Traylor (1996-97) and former teammate Josh Asselin (1998-99), four back of 10th-place Eric Riley (40, 1989-90).

Queen's Rejection
Sophomore point guard Avery Queen recorded the first blocked shot of his career. Queen, playing in his 51st career game, rejected Tom Coverdale at 6:55 in the second half as the ball traveled into the Michigan Pep Band at the south end of Crisler Arena. Queen finished the game with two assists and three steals to go along with his first career rejection.

Fife Returns to Crisler
Sunday's game in Crisler Arena marked the final return of Indiana senior Dane Fife to the place where his father Dan and older brother Dugan played during their Michigan careers. Dan wore the Maize and Blue during the 1969-71 seasons, playing in 74 games and scoring 956 points. Dugan played in 115 career games for Michigan between 1993-96 and scored 472 points while dishing out 205 assists.

Three for Hornsby
Indiana's Kyle Hornsby connected on all five of his three-point attempts en route to a 17-point performance. Hornsby's five threes led the Hoosiers' deep attack, as Indiana shot 60 percent (9-of-15) from behind the three-point arc. During a five-minute stretch in the second half Hornsby outscored the Wolverines 11-2.

No Rematch Available
Following the 75-55 loss to Indiana, the Wolverines are a combined 0-3 against Big Ten Conference opponents they face only once this season. Earlier this season Michigan lost 58-54 to Northwestern at Crisler Arena (Jan. 16) and 71-44 at Michigan State (Jan. 30). Iowa (Feb. 23 at Iowa City) is the other Big Ten opponent U-M will face just once this season.
