Halfway to a Grand
With his 17-point performance on Saturday, junior Gavin Groninger eclipsed the 500-point mark for his career. Groninger, who began the game needing 11 points to reach 500, has now scored 506 points in his Michigan career.

B-Rob on the Rebound
With three rebounds against Iowa, Bernard Robinson Jr. reached two career plateaus. His first rebound was the Michigan wing's 150th Big Ten board. Later in the game, his third rebound increased his career number of rebounds to 250. The junior contributed 11 points, two steals and a team-high five assists in the Wolverines' effort.

Gavin Goes Deep
Michigan guard Gavin Groninger scored 15 of his 17 points from behind the three-point arc. Groninger was 5-of-8 from behind the line and 5-of-11 overall with a pair of free throws. It was the third time this season that Groninger has led the team in scoring. The last time was on Nov. 23 against Western Michigan. The junior also contributed one rebound for the Wolverines in 21 minutes of play.

Bailey's Block Brings Double Digits
With one block against the Hawkeyes, Chuck Bailey has reached 10 in his short Michigan career. This was Bailey's second consecutive game with a rejection and his third in four contests. Bailey added three rebounds and an assist in just 13 minutes of play.

Back in First
Senior center Chris Young led the team with seven boards against Iowa, marking the 11th time this season that Young has paced the Wolverines on the boards. Only LaVell Blanchard has led the team in this category as many times as Young has this season.

A Tough Road to Travel
This season, Michigan has had difficulty away from Crisler Arena. The Wolverines have lost their last seven road contests and have only one win in 12 games away from Crisler this season. In contrast, the Maize and Blue is 9-5 at home.

Wolverines' Second-Half Woes Continue
Michigan has not been a strong second-half team this season. The Wolverines have posted only two wins in 13 games when they have been behind at the half. Trailing by one in Saturday's matchup against Iowa after the first 20 minutes, the Maize and Blue were outscored 45-26 the rest of the way.
