Men's Basketball to Hold Care Package Drive

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan men's basketball team will be holding a Care Package Drive to benefit our nation's servicemen and women overseas in conjunction with this Tuesday's (March 2) men's basketball game against Minnesota at 7 p.m. Michigan Athletics is working with the Student Veterans Association at the University of Michigan to send these items to Task Force-12 in the Khakrez District of the Kandahar Province.

Donations can be dropped off at Crisler Arena in the concourse near Gate E and Gate A.

Preferred donation items include:
• Pens
• Pencils
• Notebooks
• Reading Glasses
• Socks
• T-Shirts
• Protein Bars
• Hand/Baby Wipes
• Crayons
• Hard Candy
• Soccer Balls
