The Bartelstein Blog: Short and Sweet

March 8, 2013

Senior guard Josh Bartelstein begins his senior season and his third year writing the J-Bart Blog. He will give all Wolverine fans an inside look into the program and life outside of basketball during the 2012-13 season.

What's up everyone?

This blog is going to be short and sweet. As most of you know already, we pulled off a great road win on Wednesday night at Purdue. It was a total team effort. It sets up the biggest game of the year and lucky for us, it's at home.

All I could think about on the plane ride home was how electric our crowd is going to be!

This blog is an invitation to everyone who is going to be at the game on Sunday to arrive early and be loud! I don't care what you say, but as soon as Indiana takes the court, we need them to see thousands of people in Maize screaming at them.

My teammates and I are relying on all of you to make Sunday a really special day -- something we will never forget, and I don't think you guys will either!

The journey to a Big Ten championship starts when we first get together in June. Everything seems so far off, but now with the game tipping off in 48 hours, there are no excuses. Fatigue, bumps and bruises -- there is nothing that is going to stand in our way between us and a championship.

So to recap, wear maize, arrive early and be incredibly loud. I know we are going to lay it all on the line for you guys for a full 40 minutes. It is going to take a special effort to beat a great team like Indiana, but with your help, we can win championship No. 14!

Have a great weekend.

Go Blue!
